We are a friendly church offering a warm welcome to everyone
Our Christian family is made up of all sorts of people, young and old, from many different backgrounds.
St Luke’s is a safe place to come to talk, to grieve, to question, to let go.
You won’t be judged. You will be welcomed and listened to.
It’s a place to be:
Sometimes you need space to sit and think. St Luke’s is open most days, so come in and take a few moments in the peace and quiet.
A place to pray:
At St Luke’s we have space set aside for personal prayer. You could light a candle – in itself an act of prayer, or write a short note so others can also pray for you and your needs later that day or week. Simply pause for a moment and hold your needs before God.
A place to question:
Sometimes things happen that prompt big questions about life and death. The church has centuries of experience in thinking about life and death, so it’s a good place to take your questions.
A place to go:
Every Sunday, and sometimes in the week, ordinary people from round here gather together at St Luke’s to give thanks to God, to pray, and to know God’s strength for the week ahead. It is free and it works. It’s a place for you.
Join us every Sunday:
Mornings at 10.00am for our family service.
Evenings at 6.00pm for a more reflective time together.
